Al-Aboud: Saudi Arabia Aims for Arab Cup Top Spot, Not Just Participation

Abdulrahman Al-Aboud, a Saudi Arabia national team player, affirmed that his teammates aspire to finish the Arab Cup group stage at the top, indicating that their ultimate goal is to win the tournament.

Al-Aboud stated in media remarks: "We aim for the top spot in the group, and we didn't enter the tournament just to participate. Rather, we want to make the Saudi people happy, and we hope, God willing, that the trophy will be ours."

He continued: "Saudi Arabia always aspires to be first, not second. The tournament's level is high, and all teams are strong."

The match between Saudi Arabia and Morocco will take place this Monday evening (18:00 GMT+1), as part of the third and final round of the Arab Cup group stage.
