Alonso: "Everyone is Convinced We Can Beat Manchester City"

Xabi Alonso affirmed his conviction that Real Madrid is capable of securing a victory tomorrow when they host English side Manchester City in the sixth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Alonso stated on Tuesday during the pre-match press conference: "We are mentally prepared for what awaits us. Everyone is convinced that we can win tomorrow. We must play with good rhythm and great intensity."

Regarding rumors suggesting Real Madrid is considering other coaches to succeed Alonso, the coach responded: "When you manage Real Madrid, you are ready for all situations. We are motivated for what's next, and it starts tomorrow. We want to overcome this feeling of anger. In football, whether things are good or bad, everything can change quickly."

It is worth noting that Real Madrid currently sits fifth in the Champions League standings with 12 points, while Manchester City is in ninth place with 10 points.
