Pato: Brazil's World Cup Group Recalls 1998, Recent Loss to Morocco Makes It Tough

Former Brazilian international Alexandre Pato has acknowledged that the World Cup draw has placed his national team in a challenging group, alongside Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland.

Speaking to beIN Sports, the former AC Milan forward stated: "It's a difficult and complicated group, reminiscent of the 1998 World Cup. We recently faced Morocco and lost to them 2-1 in a 2023 friendly, so it will be tough."

Pato added: "We hope to deliver our best performance in the upcoming World Cup. We have good players and a coach who is among the best in the world. Our national team has won the World Cup five times, and who knows, we might win this edition."
