
Harimat: "We Played a Good Match Despite Being a Man Down, We'll Aim to Secure Qualification Against Saudi Arabia"
Mohammed Rabie Harimat, a player for the Moroccan national B team, stated that the red card shown to his teammate Abderrazak Hamdallah changed the course of the match. He emphasized that the national team will strive to secure qualification against Saudi Arabia in the final round of the Arab Cup. The Moroccan team had drawn goalless against Oman on Friday in their second group stage match of the Arab Cup.
Following the match, Harimat said in a press statement: "Praise be to God for the draw. I thank my teammates for the game they played. In the first half, we were closer to scoring, and in the second half, we tried to score and increase the tempo of the match, but the red card changed the course of the game."
He added: "We played a good match, and despite being a man down, the difference wasn't apparent, and we were still closer to scoring. We will try to recover quickly to secure qualification in the match against Saudi Arabia."
