Queiroz: "It was a strong match against the excellent Moroccan national team, and we deserved to win"

Carlos Queiroz, head coach of the Oman national team, affirmed that the match against the Moroccan national team was tough and strong, played as part of the second round of the Arab Cup group stage.
Queiroz stated in a press release: "It was a strong match against an excellent team. The players were fantastic. We tried to control them tactically and stopped them; they couldn't do anything."
He added: "In the second half, we improved and deserved to win, but the final pass didn't connect. Our failure to win was our own mistake."
He continued: "However, the players gave their all, and today it wasn't possible for us to win. Especially in the last thirty minutes, the required quality wasn't there."
