Sektioui: Morocco is a Locomotive for Arab and African Football, 'It's Just the Beginning; We Are Not Yet Satisfied'
Tarik Sektioui, coach of the Moroccan national reserve team, affirmed that media pressure surrounding the national team remains a natural part of the responsibility. He emphasized that Moroccan football has become a locomotive for Arab and African football today, thanks to continuous work and the results achieved in recent years.
Sektioui stated: “Media pressure is part of the responsibility and a way to honor football in the best possible light. Moroccan football has become a locomotive for Arab and African football, and it must remain so.”
He added: “A great deal of work is being done, and we have achieved significant results, but our ambition is still greater. In Morocco, we are not yet satisfied; this is just the beginning. The King laid the foundational cornerstones, and many individuals have joined this project.”
He continued: “If Morocco reached fourth place globally, it is natural to aim for the title. And if we finished third in the Olympics, we must aspire to second place and then the championship. The same applies to CHAN and the Youth World Cup.”
He further stated: “We reached the quarter-finals in the previous edition, and our goal today is to surpass that and compete for the title. Morocco has started a project that is yielding results, but the ambition for what is better is even greater.”
