
Renard: "Morocco Played an Ideal Match Against Comoros, Who Came Back Strongly in the Second Half"
Hervé Renard, coach of the Saudi national team, affirmed that Morocco played an ideal match against Comoros (3-1) in the first round of the Arab Cup group stage, noting that his goal is to compete in all encounters.
Renard said in a media statement after the 2-1 victory over Oman: "African teams are not playing with their first-choice squads due to the Africa Cup of Nations, but they are entertaining and play wonderful football."
He continued: "The Moroccan national team played an ideal match against Comoros, scoring three goals in the first half, but the latter made a great comeback in the second half."
The Saudi national team coach concluded by saying: "We just need to recover and return to compete in all matches."
