Al Ahly Announce Bencharki Hamstring Tear, Return to Cairo for Treatment Possible

Egyptian club Al Ahly announced the nature of the injury sustained by Achraf Bencharki, a player for the Moroccan reserve national team, indicating the possibility of his return to Cairo to continue his treatment.

In a statement released by the Egyptian club, Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the first-team doctor, confirmed: “The scans performed on Achraf Bencharki, the team’s player, revealed that he has suffered a tear in his hamstring muscle.”

“The doctor explained that, after coordinating with Walid Salah El-Din, the football director, he contacted the technical staff of the Moroccan national team participating in the Arab Cup to monitor the player’s condition and his initial treatment program,” Al Ahly added in their statement.

He concluded: “We are currently assessing his availability for the tournament matches and the possibility of his return to Cairo to complete his treatment and rehabilitation period.”
