The Moroccan community in Qatar is preparing for a major public event this evening, Monday, in Doha. Souq Waqif, next to Ashairij Cafe, is expected to host a historic gathering of national team supporters at 8:30 PM, creating an exceptional atmosphere ahead of the 2025 Arab Cup. This event follows several days of large fan gatherings in Doha for other Arab national teams, which has heightened the enthusiasm among Moroccan fans eager to demonstrate a strong presence that reflects their enduring love for the national team and their renowned festive spirit.

Fan leader Marwan Yumkin stated in an exclusive interview with Al-Botola that today's gathering "will be the largest since Moroccan fans arrived in Qatar." He noted that the atmosphere "will be enthusiastic and heated, with everyone united behind the national team to give them a significant morale boost before they enter the competition." He added that the goal of the gathering is "to present a civilized image worthy of Moroccan fans, who have impressed the world in recent events."

In the same context, Al-Botola learned that the famous fan group "Rosso Verde" arrived in Doha yesterday after a long 16-hour journey, specifically to support the national team in the Arab Cup. The group confirmed their aim is to unite the efforts of the Moroccan community residing in Qatar and organize a large fan presence that highlights the true strength of Moroccans in the stands.

The gathering is taking place at a cafe located next to "Ashairij" in Souq Waqif. Supporting groups have called on all members of the Moroccan community to attend in large numbers, given the expected significant media attention and the desire to present a refined image of Moroccan fans before the tournament begins. This gathering coincides with the opening matches of the Arab Cup today between Tunisia and Syria, and Qatar and Palestine. The Moroccan team will play its first match tomorrow, Tuesday, against Comoros, amid strong support and high expectations from fans.

The Moroccan community hopes this gathering will be the start of an exceptional atmosphere that Moroccan fans will create throughout the competition, with the aim of propelling the team to advanced stages and competing for the Arab Cup title.
