Batna Refuses to Discuss Arab Cup Squad Snub: "There Are Things Between Me and the Coach I Cannot Talk About Publicly!"

Moroccan professional Mourad Batna, who plays for Saudi club Al-Fateh, declined to comment on his exclusion from the Moroccan national B team squad for the upcoming Arab Cup.

In media statements regarding his absence from the squad, Batna said: "I have spoken with the coach (Tarik Sektioui), and to be clear, there are things between us that I cannot discuss publicly."

Batna's omission from the Moroccan national B team squad was notable, especially with the inclusion of several other prominent attacking players such as Abderrazak Hamdallah, Tarik Tissoudali, and Walid Azaro.

The Moroccan national B team is preparing for the Arab Cup, scheduled to take place in Qatar from December 1st to 18th. Sektioui's side has been drawn in Group B, alongside Saudi Arabia, the winner of the Oman vs. Somalia match, and the qualifier from the Yemen vs. Comoros fixture.
