Pyramids Officially Approves El Karti's Arab Cup Participation, Player to Join Morocco Squad Soon

Egyptian club Pyramids FC has officially approved the request for its player, Walid El Karti, to join the Moroccan B national team for the 2025 Arab Cup, scheduled to take place in Qatar. This decision comes in response to a request from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.

In a statement released through its media center and reported by Egyptian media outlets, the club clarified that its decision is a testament to the excellent relations it maintains with various Arab clubs and federations.

The club's statement further added that despite Pyramids having two Egyptian Premier League matches on the 3rd and 6th of this month, and facing several player absences, the management decided to allow El Karti to join the Moroccan national team, deeming it beneficial for both parties.

Walid El Karti is expected to arrive in Doha in the coming hours. He received the green light to depart from the Pyramids squad after their return from Zambia and join the Moroccan national team's delegation for the Arab Cup.

The Moroccan national team is set to kick off its tournament campaign the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, with a match against Comoros, starting at 1:00 PM (GMT+1).
