Salah Eddine Shahab: "Moroccan Football is in its Golden Age, We Came to Qatar to Win the Arab Cup"

Salah Eddine Shahab, goalkeeper for the Moroccan reserve national team, stated that the atmosphere within the squad is positive and that Moroccan football is experiencing one of its best periods across all categories, ahead of their match against Comoros in the first round of the Arab Cup group stage.

Speaking to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation website, Shahab said: "The atmosphere among the group is good, and thank God, national football is going through its most glorious periods in all its categories."

He added: "We came to the Arab Cup to win the title and to perform well, and I hope we achieve a positive result and lift the trophy."

The Moroccan national team will kick off their tournament campaign next Tuesday, facing the Comoros national team at 1:00 PM (GMT+1).
