Tarik Sektioui, coach of the Moroccan national reserve team, declined to comment on reports circulating about the potential call-up of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, a player for Wydad AC, to participate in the Arab Cup.

During a press conference held today, Friday, to announce the squad for the Arab Cup, Sektioui stated: "Regarding players participating in foreign leagues, I can disclose that I have always made things easier for clubs. I have operated this way since I started working here, even if it was at my own expense, to help teams be in the best possible condition."

He added: "If you noticed, we played on Monday to allow players to benefit from rest days and return to their clubs fully prepared. Sometimes, some players join us on match day and return to their clubs immediately after the game concludes."

Addressing the rumors about Hakim Ziyech's potential call-up for the Arab Cup, Sektioui clarified: "I will not answer this question, but if we were to open a discussion about it, we would diminish the value of this player. Hakim is an icon among icons, and a true gem for national football. Simply opening this discussion would lessen his worth."
