Sektioui: "Red Card Was Very Harsh, A Point Is Good"
Tarik Sektioui, coach of the Moroccan national B team, expressed satisfaction with the goalless draw against Oman in the second round of the Arab Cup group stage.
Sektioui stated in a press conference: "The match was difficult. Oman is a good team, tactically disciplined, and possesses fast players upfront who can create problems for any side."
He added: "We had an excellent first half and were closer to scoring, but the red card was very harsh on us. It's not easy to play with a numerical disadvantage for a long time, so I thank the players for how they handled the situation. I believe a draw is a good result."
Moroccan player Abderrazak Hamdallah was sent off in the 53rd minute of the second half during the match.
