Abou Rida: "I Don't Feel Jealous of Morocco; They Represent All of Africa, and I Hope We Reach Their Level"

Hany Abou Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), praised Morocco's experience in developing the sport, noting that Morocco represents North Africa and the entire African continent.

His comments came in response to a question about his stance on Morocco's success and the progress of Egyptian national teams compared to the level achieved by Moroccan teams.

During an interview on "Al-Nazer" program with media personality Ahmed Shobair, Abou Rida stated: "I don't feel jealous of Morocco; Morocco represents North Africa and the entire continent. I have a very good relationship with them, and I hope we reach their level."

He added: "We have neglected youth sectors for a long time, unlike what Morocco has done. I want us to return to focusing on players who are hungry for football, the talents we don't see now."
