El Drouich Scores Brace as PSV Eindhoven Defeat Liverpool 4-1 with Saibari and Salah-Eddine Featuring in Champions League

Dutch side PSV Eindhoven defeated English club Liverpool 4-1 in a match played on Wednesday evening, as part of the fifth round of the Champions League.

The encounter, held at Anfield, saw Moroccan duo Ismael Saibari and Anas Salah-Eddine start, while their compatriot Souhaib El Drouich entered the match as a substitute in the 69th minute.

The Dutch team was awarded a penalty in the 6th minute, capitalizing on an unusual error from Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk. The English side then scored the equalizer in the 16th minute through Dominik Szoboszlai.

Guus Til added PSV's second goal in the 56th minute, before Souhaib El Drouich scored the third in the 73rd minute, just four minutes after coming on as a substitute. El Drouich then completed his brace by scoring PSV's fourth goal in the 85th minute.

With this result, PSV Eindhoven climbed to 14th place with 8 points, while Liverpool are in 12th place with 9 points.
