Lamine Yamal: "Everything Said Was Lies, Whistles Mean I'm Doing My Job Right"
Lamine Yamal delivered a standout performance in yesterday's match, scoring a goal in Barcelona's 3-3 draw against Club Brugge during the fourth round of the Champions League.
Following the game, the 18-year-old addressed his health status and the rumors circulating about him. "Many people spoke about me suffering from pubic pain and claimed that I was sad, but all of that was nothing but lies," Yamal stated.
He continued: "I don't read what is written; I just try to play. I've remained myself; I was always happy. I was simply focused on my work, on returning to training and playing at this level, as that's what I enjoy. I have to keep doing my job."
When asked about the whistles directed at him by Club Brugge fans, Yamal responded: "Ultimately, it's not a coincidence. If it were another player, they wouldn't have whistled at him. This means I'm doing my job as I should."
