Aguerd Furious with Refereeing After Marseille's Defeat to Atalanta: "I don't like talking about referees, but he should at least be fair"

Nayef Aguerd, Olympique Marseille defender, expressed his strong dissatisfaction with the refereeing performance in his team's 0-1 loss to Atalanta yesterday in the Champions League.

The Moroccan international told French channel Canal+ after the match: "I am a person who doesn't like to talk about referees, but today, he should at least be fair and review the VAR (Video Assistant Referee) technology."

Aguerd added, speaking about the importance of the match: "This is an important match, it's a Champions League competition, and he doesn't even want to see if there was a penalty, and we concede a goal in the end... It's hard to find the words."
