Yassine Bounou After Winning Best African Goalkeeper Award: "Al-Hilal and Its Fans Gave Me Love and Support"

Moroccan international Yassine Bounou, Al-Hilal Saudi FC's goalkeeper, expressed his immense happiness at being with the club during this period, emphasizing that Al-Hilal and its fans played a significant role in him receiving the Best African Goalkeeper award.

Responding to a question about Al-Hilal's contribution to him being crowned Best African Goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou stated after his team's match against Al-Fateh to "Thamanya" channels: "The club gave me love and support, both from the players and the fans, which is something difficult to find in any other club. I feel like they are my family."

Al-Hilal goalkeeper Yassine Bounou was crowned Best African Goalkeeper for 2025 last Wednesday in Rabat, achieving this feat for the second time in his career after his previous win in the 2023 edition.
