Nairobi Coach: 'Our Players Know What Awaits Them Against Wydad; Anything is Possible'

Nicholas Muyoti, coach of Kenya's Nairobi City Stars, confirmed that his team is preparing well for the anticipated clash against Wydad AC in the opening round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

Muyoti stated: "We are psychologically ready, and I believe my players know very well what awaits them. The match will not be easy, as we are facing a big team that has participated in the CAF Champions League for many years and possesses vast experience in continental competitions."

He added: "I know the encounter will be difficult, but we will work to prepare the players in the best possible way, and we will try to come away with something positive from there. We will do everything in our power because anything is possible in football."

Wydad will host their Kenyan guests, Nairobi City Stars, next Sunday, starting at 8 PM, at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, in their first group stage match.
