French media reports indicate that Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd will leave the national team camp to continue his treatment with his club, Olympique Marseille. According to French newspaper "La Provence," Aguerd is departing the Moroccan squad to pursue his recovery at Olympique Marseille after being excused from participating in the Atlas Lions' first match during this international break.

The Moroccan defender will return to Marseille earlier than anticipated to follow his treatment program with his club. He is suffering from a groin injury (sports hernia/pubalgia), which he sustained during his team's 3-0 match against Brest last Saturday, forcing him to leave the field before the end of the game.

The newspaper noted that despite these physical concerns, the 29-year-old Aguerd was called up for Morocco's two matches during this international period. However, he was rested for last Friday's game against Mozambique and will also miss the final match against Uganda.
