Moroccan National Team One Step Away from World Cup Qualification
The Moroccan U17 national team is eagerly awaiting the official announcement of their qualification for the Round of 32 at the World Cup in Qatar. They concluded the group stage with three points and an impressive goal difference of (+8), which places them at the top of the ranking for the best third-placed teams.
Although their qualification is not yet officially confirmed, the "Atlas Cubs" have logically secured their spot in the next round. This comes after their historic 16-0 victory over New Caledonia and other directly favorable results, most notably Qatar's 0-0 draw with Bolivia, and the defeats of both Costa Rica and the UAE on the final matchday.
The calculations are now clear: the Moroccan team is in a virtually guaranteed position. The only teams theoretically capable of surpassing them are Indonesia and Honduras, who are scheduled to play each other today. However, their task appears almost impossible, as Indonesia currently holds a goal difference of (-6) and Honduras has (-8).
