The Brazilian national team concluded its preparations for their upcoming World Cup match against Morocco with a 2-1 victory over Egypt. The friendly encounter took place at Huntington Bank Stadium in Cleveland early Sunday morning.
The Seleção opened the scoring early through Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimarães in the 7th minute. Egypt then managed to equalize via Mostafa Ziko in the 11th minute.
In the second half, substitute Endrick, a player for Olympique Lyonnais, scored the winning goal in the 52nd minute.
Brazil's first match in the World Cup will be against Morocco on June 13 at 23:00 GMT+1. The Atlas Lions, for their part, will conclude their World Cup preparations by facing Norway this Sunday evening at 20:00 GMT+1.
