Hakimi Misses Out as UEFA Announces 2025-2026 Champions League Team of the Season
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced its Team of the Season for the 2025-2026 UEFA Champions League today, Sunday.
The selected squad prominently featured several Paris Saint-Germain players, but notably omitted Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, the Parisian club's right-back.
The UEFA Champions League 2025-2026 Team of the Season is as follows:
Goalkeeper: David Raya (Arsenal)
Defenders: Nuno Mendes (Paris Saint-Germain), Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain), Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal), Marcos Llorente (Atlético Madrid)
Midfielders: Vitinha (Paris Saint-Germain), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Paris Saint-Germain), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Michael Olise (Bayern Munich)
Forwards: Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Ousmane Dembélé (Paris Saint-Germain)
Paris Saint-Germain secured the Champions League title after a 4-3 penalty shootout victory over Arsenal, following a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.
