
Including China and Japan: Over 100 Countries to Broadcast CAF Champions League Final Second Leg in Rabat
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the second leg of the CAF Women's Champions League final, featuring AS FAR (Morocco) and Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), will be broadcast in over 100 countries and regions, marking a historic first for the competition.
CAF confirmed in a statement on its official website that the final will be transmitted across more than 100 countries and regions. For the first time, the match will be broadcast live in Japan, South Korea, and China via the DAZN platform.
CAF also noted that the broadcast list includes new territories in Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain. In the United Kingdom, the Champions League final will be aired live for the first time on a free-to-air channel, Channel 4, including its digital platforms.
The African final will also be broadcast through CAF's traditional partners, including beIN Sports, covering the Middle East and North Africa region, Asia, France, the United States, the South Pacific, and other territories.
CAF further explained that Canal+ will broadcast the match in French across more than 32 countries, while SuperSport will cover most Sub-Saharan African nations in over 36 countries, offering commentary in both English and Portuguese.
It is worth noting that the match will take place at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, this coming Sunday, kicking off at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
