Ait Ourkhan Ahead of Sundowns Clash: 'We'll Compensate for Small First-Leg Loss'

Khalid Ait Ourkhan, AS FAR player, confirmed that his team is determined to make up for the first-leg loss against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League final return leg.

Ait Ourkhan told the media: “We returned with a small loss from the first leg, and God willing, we will compensate for it in the return match. All the players are ready for this final, and we seek to rectify the situation in the second leg.”

The AS FAR player added that the atmosphere within the squad is positive despite the pressure of travel, emphasizing the team's readiness in all aspects. He stated: “The atmosphere within the group is good, and the week went well despite us suffering from travel. However, with the medical and technical staff, we have the means to be in good shape for the return match.”

AS FAR will host Sundowns next Sunday at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM. The first leg ended with the South African club securing a one-goal victory.
