
AS FAR Issues Fan Guidelines Ahead of CAF Champions League Final Second Leg, Including Ban on Prohibited Materials
AS FAR club has issued an official statement urging its supporters to adhere to a set of guidelines during the second leg of the CAF Champions League final against South African club Mamelodi Sundowns. This follows a security and organizational meeting coordinated with the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
AS FAR emphasized the importance of observing several organizational regulations both inside and around the stadium. These include a strict ban on the use of flares or any other prohibited materials, and a prohibition against entering or invading the pitch under any circumstances. Fans are also required to remain in their designated seats and refrain from using stairwells and corridors as seating areas.
The club, known as "Al-Zaeem" (The Leader), also urged fans not to throw projectiles onto the pitch and banned the use of laser pointers. Furthermore, the display of any banners or slogans with political, religious, or offensive content is prohibited, in accordance with CAF regulations.
AS FAR is set to host Mamelodi Sundowns this coming Sunday, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 PM (GMT+1) at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. The first leg of the final concluded with a 1-0 victory for the South African side.
