
De la Fuente Includes Morocco Among 2026 World Cup Favorites
Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has stated that the upcoming World Cup will be different and exceptional, listing Morocco among the teams favored to win the title.
In press statements, De la Fuente said that the next edition of the World Cup would be historic, particularly with 48 teams participating for the first time, in addition to the special circumstances under which the tournament will be held. He emphasized that the competition would be extremely strong among the top national teams.
The Spanish coach added, “It is an extremely exceptional World Cup, historic because it will feature 48 teams, and under very special circumstances. It will be a tremendous tournament.”
De la Fuente also spoke about the main teams favored to compete for the title, stating, “France, Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, Senegal, Morocco... all of them have the same chances of winning the World Cup.”
