Players of the Moroccan U17 national team have affirmed their readiness to face the Tunisian national team in the opening match of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2026".

Hamza Ech-Challali stated in a declaration to the official website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation: "We have prepared well for the match against Tunisia, and we hope to live up to the expectations of the Moroccan fans."

He added: "We thank Fouzi Lekjaa for receiving us and giving us confidence. God willing, we will achieve a positive result and defeat Tunisia, and we aim to retain the title of this tournament and keep it in Morocco."
