Feyenoord Announce Signing of Morocco U17 International Adnan Boujoufi Until Mid-2029
Dutch club Feyenoord announced on Friday the official signing of Adnan Boujoufi, a Morocco U17 international, on a contract extending until mid-2029. He joins from Go Ahead Eagles.
The club stated in its announcement that Boujoufi will join the Dutch team starting next season and will play for Feyenoord's U19 squad.
Boujoufi expressed his immense pride in joining Feyenoord, stating: “I have played my entire youth career at FC Twente, and then in 2024, I moved to Go Ahead Eagles. Now, I am preparing to move to Feyenoord.”
He continued: “I want to play my first match at De Kuip, and I want to achieve that dream. Feyenoord has been my dream club since childhood. I have a special goal-scoring instinct. I have a powerful right foot, I am good at heading, and I am technically proficient with the ball.”
The 16-year-old Boujoufi previously won the North African Football Union (UNAF) U17 Championship with the Morocco U17 national team. He was also awarded the Best Player accolade in the match against Egypt during the third round of the competition.
