Van Persie: "Terghaline Suffered a Very Dangerous Tackle, Initial Signs Not Promising"
Moroccan midfielder Oussama Targhaline sustained a severe injury during his team Feyenoord Rotterdam's 1-0 victory over Go Ahead Eagles in the 23rd round of the Dutch Football League.
Targhaline was forced to leave the pitch in the 15th minute due to a serious ankle injury, following a violent tackle from player Thibo Baeten, an incident that resulted in Baeten being shown a red card.
Feyenoord Rotterdam coach Robin van Persie commented on Targhaline's injury, stating: "Oussama will be out of the team for the time being. He suffered a very dangerous tackle, and there is no place for such challenges on the field."
He further explained: "It doesn't look like his situation will be good. He will clearly undergo more medical examinations, but the initial signs are not promising."
