
Morocco U17 Players: "We Trust Our Abilities and Aim for Strong Start Against Tunisia"
The Moroccan U17 national team continues its intensive preparations for the opening match of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations finals against Tunisia. The tournament is hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco from May 13 to June 2, 2026.
Speaking to the official channel of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Ibrahim Errabaj confirmed that the preparations are proceeding well, noting that all players are ready for the continental competition.
Errabaj stated: "We have prepared well for the first match, in an atmosphere of discipline and focus. We are keen to apply the instructions of the coach, in whom we have great trust. We also believe in the abilities of our group and hope to be in the best possible readiness to achieve a positive result."
For his part, Ismail El Aoud emphasized the importance of focus and hard work during the preparation period, highlighting the team's confidence in its capabilities ahead of the match against Tunisia.
El Aoud said: "We are training very seriously in preparation for this match, and we are committed to following the instructions of the coach and the technical staff. We have previously faced the Tunisian team and defeated them, which gives us additional confidence. We have great trust in our group and our capabilities, and we hope things will go as well as possible."
It is worth noting that the match between the two teams will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, at Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, kicking off at 8 PM (GMT+1).
