Hakimi Resumes Individual Field Training Ahead of Competitive Return
Morocco international Achraf Hakimi has returned to field training with Paris Saint-Germain, following an injury he sustained during the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.
According to an official statement from the Parisian club, Hakimi is currently continuing his rehabilitation program through individual training sessions, aiming to regain his physical fitness. He is training alongside several other players who are still undergoing treatment, including Nuno Mendes, Warren Zaïre-Emery, and Willian Pacho.
Paris Saint-Germain hopes to recover the services of the Moroccan national team captain in the coming weeks, especially with the anticipated Champions League final in Budapest against Arsenal approaching.
Despite his recent absence, Hakimi has maintained a strong presence in the footballing scene, having been selected for the French League's ideal lineup during the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) awards ceremony. This lineup featured a clear dominance of Paris Saint-Germain players.
Hakimi had missed several important matches, most notably the Champions League semi-final second leg in Germany, as well as the league match against Brest, following the injury he sustained in the final minutes of the European fixture.
