The reveal took place during the 35th edition of the UNFP Awards ceremony, hosted at the Palais Brongniart in the capital, Paris. The event honored the league's most prominent stars after a competitive season that saw the emergence of promising new talents alongside seasoned veterans.
Ruben Reiser led the selections, being named goalkeeper in the Team of the Season, having also claimed the award for the league's best goalkeeper earlier in the evening.
The defensive line featured a quartet comprising Nuno Mendes, Willian Pacho, Malang Sarr, and Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi. The midfield was anchored by the trio of Vitinha, Corentin Tolisso, and Mamadou Sangaré, ensuring technical balance for the selected squad.
Upfront, the attacking lineup in the chosen XI included Ousmane Dembélé, Florian Thauvin, and Mason Greenwood, forming the formidable striking force of this ideal formation.
This announcement comes as Ligue 1 seeks to enhance its competitiveness. The previous 2024-2025 season saw significant dominance from the capital's team, which secured nine spots in that year's lineup.
