Arsenal Receives Champions League Final Ticket Allocation for PSG Clash
English club Arsenal has received an official allocation of 16,824 tickets for the UEFA Champions League final against French side Paris Saint-Germain. The highly anticipated match is scheduled for May 30 in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, with kick-off at 17:00 GMT+1.
This confirmed figure is approximately 400 tickets fewer than the initial estimates released by UEFA in mid-March, which had indicated an allocation of 17,200 tickets for each participating club.
The London club clarified in an official statement that the tickets designated for its supporters would be located in the North Stand of the Puskas Arena, the venue hosting the major continental showdown.
Arsenal stated in its announcement: "We have received an allocation of 16,824 tickets located in the North Stand of the stadium." Meanwhile, supporters of Paris Saint-Germain are awaiting similar details, expected to be released on Thursday, outlining the mechanisms for distributing their share of seats for the European football spectacle.
Ticket resale platforms are currently witnessing record-high prices, with values surpassing the €6,000 mark. This represents a massive surge compared to the official prices set by UEFA, which ranged between €70 and €950, reflecting the immense demand for the final. This surge occurs despite the continental federation allocating over 40 percent of the Puskas Arena's total capacity of 67,000 seats to the fans of the two qualified teams in more affordable ticket categories.
