Lille Coach: "Very Happy with Ighaman's Return; He Was in Good Condition in Rabat, and It's Good for Him to Be Back in the Training Environment"
Bruno Genesio, coach of French club Lille, expressed his happiness at the return of his Moroccan player Hamza Ighaman to training, following his recovery from a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Genesio stated in a press conference: "It's good to see Ighaman again. It's always sad to lose a player due to a serious injury. He was an important player for us, so we are very happy about his return. Moreover, he is a positive, bright person, always smiling."
He continued: "Although I know he was in very good condition in Rabat, surrounded by his family and receiving excellent care, I believe it's good for him now to return to the daily atmosphere, even if he isn't training or moving at the same pace as the group."
He concluded: "Seeing his teammates again, the technical staff, and everyone who works here, is important. It's a crucial step in his recovery process."
