Spanish Radio: Rüdiger Assaults Carreras in Dressing Room with a Slap to the Face
Spanish radio station "Onda Cero" has revealed an incident that took place in the Real Madrid dressing room less than two weeks ago, involving German defender Antonio Rüdiger.
The station, quoting journalist Miguel Serrano, stated that Rüdiger assaulted his teammate Carreras inside the training ground's dressing room, slapping him in front of his teammates.
Serrano reported that the incident occurred during a training session between the royal club's matches against Deportivo Alavés (April 21) and Real Betis (April 24) in La Liga.
Real Madrid has experienced significant turmoil following their exit from the Champions League and the loss of hope in competing for La Liga, most notably the widely reported dispute between coach Arbeloa and player Ceballos.
It is worth noting that Carreras, who was slapped by Rüdiger, was also excluded from Real Madrid's starting lineup without a clear reason.
