Senegalese Federation Welcomes Algerian Ambassador, Citing 'Valuable Support During Historic Rabat Victory'

The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) issued an official statement expressing gratitude to Algeria's Ambassador to Dakar, Reda Nebais, following his visit to their headquarters. This gesture reflects the context of recent events, from the Africa Cup of Nations final in Morocco to the appeal lodged with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to determine the African champion.

The FSF statement read: "This special meeting provided an opportunity to convey our deep gratitude to the brotherly Algerian people for their solidarity and valuable support during Senegal's historic victory on January 18, 2025, in Rabat."

The Senegalese Football Federation also warmly welcomed the initiatives launched by the Algerian Ambassador, which aim to foster fruitful cooperation and partnership between the two nations at the sporting level.
