The German side capitalized effectively on their numerical advantage, with Colombian Luis Díaz swiftly scoring an equalizer in the 89th minute. Michael Olise then delivered the decisive blow to the Royal Club, netting a spectacular goal in the 90+4th minute. Shortly after, the referee blew the final whistle, confirming the Bavarians' progression to the final four.
