The second half commenced with the aggregate score tied. Both teams appeared to tighten their defensive lines, with no further goals until the 86th minute, which brought a significant setback for Real Madrid when their French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga was sent off.

The German side capitalized effectively on their numerical advantage, with Colombian Luis Díaz swiftly scoring an equalizer in the 89th minute. Michael Olise then delivered the decisive blow to the Royal Club, netting a spectacular goal in the 90+4th minute. Shortly after, the referee blew the final whistle, confirming the Bavarians' progression to the final four.
