Brahim Diaz Reaches 100 La Liga Appearances for Real Madrid
Moroccan international Brahim Diaz reached the milestone of 100 appearances in La Liga for Real Madrid during his team's match against Girona, which ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday, as part of Week 31 of the Spanish league.
Diaz started the match for the Royal Club and provided a crucial assist for Real Madrid's opening goal, scored by Federico Valverde in the 51st minute, before Girona managed to equalize later.
Just days prior, Brahim Diaz had also made history in the UEFA Champions League by playing his 50th match in the competition, becoming only the second Moroccan player to reach this figure, after Achraf Hakimi, who has 73 appearances.
The 26-year-old player has featured in 33 matches across all competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
