Arbeloa: "Brahim Diaz Emerged From a Situation That Was Not Easy At All"
Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa confirmed that Moroccan international Brahim Diaz successfully overcame a difficult and worrying situation, especially psychologically.
Brahim's standing at the Royal Club changed last March after he capitalized on Mbappé's absence and started in five matches, including both Champions League fixtures against Manchester City.
The international player also breathed a sigh of relief following CAF's decision to consider the Senegal national team as withdrawn and defeated (3-0) against Morocco in the Africa Cup final, a match where he missed a 'Panenka' style penalty kick.
Speaking about his Moroccan player before the La Liga clash against Real Mallorca, Arbeloa stated: "Brahim Diaz emerged from a situation that was not easy at all, but he was able to fight and show the quality of the player he is."
He further added regarding the possibility of continuing to rely on Brahim as a starter in upcoming matches: "We have an exceptional team, and I will need all the players."
