FIFA announced on Thursday the list of referees who will officiate the 2026 World Cup matches.
The list includes 52 main referees, 88 assistant referees, and 30 Video Assistant Referees (VAR) specialists, representing all six continents and belonging to 50 football associations.
Moroccan refereeing will be present at this global event through four officials: Jalal Jayed as a main referee, Zakaria Brinsi and Mustapha Akarkad as assistant referees, and Hamza El Fariq as a Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
The World Cup finals will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
