Mbemba: "90% of My Career Goals Achieved" After Congo Qualifies for 2026 World Cup
Chancel Mbemba, a player for the Congolese national team, stated that he has achieved 90% of his career goals following the team's qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Mbemba shared his feelings in a post on his official Instagram account, writing: "After returning to the club, I finally realized what we had achieved, but what touched me most were my children's words: 'Dad, you did it, we're going to the World Cup.'"
He continued: "In that moment, I saw the pride in their eyes, and that's when I understood everything. What a journey it has been. A child born and raised in Congo, under difficult circumstances."
He concluded: "Today, with this qualification, I have reached 90% of the goals I set for myself in my career. I am proud and grateful."
