
Oman FA President: 'Fortunate to Sign Al-Sektioui, Agreed to Transfer Moroccan Experience'
Sulaiman bin Hamoud, President of the Oman Football Association (OFA), expressed his delight at signing Tarik Sektioui to lead the senior national team, praising his career and the attention he has garnered recently.
Bin Hamoud stated: “Firstly, I thank the esteemed coach Sektioui for choosing our national team over other offers. We know he received many offers recently.”
He added: “Sektioui received numerous offers after his achievement of winning the Arab Cup, and thankfully, we are fortunate to benefit from the coach’s experience and transfer the Moroccan experience.”
The OFA President continued: “We agreed with him to transfer the Moroccan experience and to help Omani football reach the levels we aspire to.”
He further stated: “We negotiated well, and our goals and ambitions aligned. Sektioui shares the same desire, which is the secret to success. The deal was kept confidential and announced at a time no one expected.”
The Oman FA President concluded his statement by saying: “There is social acceptance for the coach, and we must help him achieve the goals we desire.”
