Tarik Sectioui expressed his optimism about embarking on a new experience as the head coach of the Omani national football team, stating that he will exert every effort to bring joy to Omani fans.

Sectioui stated in an introductory video released by the Oman Football Association on its official accounts: "There is a relationship of love and mutual respect between the peoples of Morocco and Oman, and I am very optimistic."

He added: "It is an honor for me to lead the technical staff of the Omani national team. I see an ambitious team with significant technical potential that requires development and a mindset aligned with modern football and defending the national colors."

Sectioui concluded: "What I pledge is to work diligently and responsibly, striving to please God and dedicating all our efforts to make the fans happy and proud."
