The Friedkin family, owners of Italian club AS Roma, has issued direct directives to coach Gian Piero Gasperini and executive officials. The mandate emphasizes the need to reduce current tensions and foster a spirit of unity within the Trigoria training center.
This intervention by the ownership aims to put an end to ongoing disagreements between the coach and management regarding team composition and transfer market decisions, stressing the importance of everyone dedicating themselves to their operational tasks in the upcoming phase.
In light of recent developments, Gasperini's reservations have focused on the club's transfer market policy, the recurring injuries affecting key players such as Paulo Dybala, Dovbyk, Ferguson, Soule, and Koné, in addition to the issue of unrenewed contracts.
Meanwhile, the capital club's management believes it is taking the correct steps to support the technical director while adhering to the restrictions imposed by Financial Fair Play regulations. This balance is what the ownership seeks to establish to overcome administrative and technical obstacles.
