El Aynaoui Absent from Roma-Como Match Today in Serie A to Join "Lions" Camp Ahead of AFCON

Gian Piero Gasperini, Roma's coach, announced the squad called up for today's match against Como, Monday (20:45 GMT+1), as part of Week 15 of the Italian League.
The squad saw the absence of Moroccan international Naïl El Aynaoui, after the Royal Moroccan Football Federation submitted an appeal to FIFA for the player to join the national team's camp in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
It is worth noting that FIFA had informed clubs of the possibility of retaining their players participating in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations until December 15, before they join their respective national teams.
