AS FAR concluded its final preparations on Thursday evening for the crucial match against Egyptian visitors Pyramids FC, following an evening training session that began at 9:30 PM.

Coach Alexandre Santos will be without the services of two prominent players from his starting lineup. Captain Mohamed Rabie Harimat is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards, while goalkeeper Reda Tagnaouti is sidelined with an injury that has kept him out of the team's last three matches and today's training session.

Goalkeeper Ayoub El Khayati is also out due to injury, forcing AS FAR to rely on their third-choice goalkeeper, 20-year-old Abdelhakim Mesbahi. Mesbahi previously played a few minutes against Wydad AC and started the last match against Renaissance Zemamra, where he successfully kept a clean sheet.

Adding to the player absences, AS FAR will host Pyramids behind closed doors, following a CAF decision to penalize the team with a three-match ban from playing in front of their supporters.
