Pellegrini Confirms Amrabat's Return to Betis Squad Next Week

Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini has provided an update on the physical condition of Moroccan international Sofiane Amrabat, who is nearing a return to action after a long period of absence due to injury. Pellegrini confirmed that Amrabat has made significant progress in his recovery, noting that the player has already begun field training with the team in recent days, which paves the way for his imminent return to the match squad.

The Chilean coach stated in the pre-match press conference ahead of the Panathinaikos clash: “Amrabat has completed field training, and it is likely that he will be called up next week, either on Thursday or Sunday.” He added: “However, it is unlikely that he will be ready to play the full ninety minutes.”

The Moroccan international's participation is expected to be determined in the coming days. He could feature in the return leg against Panathinaikos, or in the away league match against Celta Vigo, which is the last fixture before the international break.
