Barcelona Considers Ez Abde as Alternative Option Amid Rashford Transfer Uncertainty
Barcelona continues to explore its options to strengthen its attack and left wing. Among the prominent names the sporting management is considering signing is Moroccan international Abde Ezzalzouli, for whom the Spanish club owns 20% of his rights, making him an important economic option for the team.
According to Spanish newspaper "Marca", Deco, Barcelona's sporting director, has identified two alternatives, including Ez Abde, in case the signing of England international Marcus Rashford is not finalized this summer.
It is expected that the player on loan from Manchester United will cost the Catalan club the full amount of the €30 million buy option, in addition to his high salary, especially after Rashford informed the English club of his intention not to return.
Should they rely on Ez Abde, the player would be given the opportunity to prove himself at the first-team level, making him a strategic and financially suitable option for Barcelona, with the potential to benefit from him in official matches and strengthen attacking options across various competitions.
Barcelona will continue to carefully evaluate all possibilities, between finalizing the Rashford deal or signing Ez Abde, to ensure the team is strengthened without impacting the club's financial and tactical plans.
